Following Alonso being stripped of pole and being docked 5 positions, Lewis Hamilton drove a flawless race leading from start to finish. Only Ferrari's Kimi Raikonnen posed a threat to the British rookie.
Alonso finished 4th behind Heidfeld and Massa ended 14th - disappointing race for the Brazilian as he falls further behind in the championship standings.
It remains to be seen if Mclaren have constructor's points for this race following the qualifying incident with Alonso & Hamilton.
